Greyhounds have a reputation among owners for having a laid-back, “chill” personality. In general, they need minimal exercise and are reasonably low-maintenance dogs
SURPRISED?
Don’t feel bad, many who are new to this breed are mistaken. Many think that a dog built for speed must be high-energy and high-strung, right?
WRONG.
Most of these retired racers are anxious to curl up on your couch (or a comfy dog bed) and love a nice daily walk and the occasional sprint around in a fenced area. And look at that smooth coat?! Why it’s practically “wash & wear”!
If you think this breed might be right for you, please come down and meet Norm. Thanks to a generous donation half of his adoption fee has been pre-paid. |

"Bella"
This little darling is Bella, a 12-year old American Eskimo. looking for a retirement home. She would love to find a comfortable home with loving people and lots of places for her to relax in. She's a very gentle girl who enjoys spending time with people and she doesn't let a whole lot bother her anymore. She should do fine sharing a new home with some other dogs, dog savvy cats, and children over the age of 10 who won't overwhelm her. If you'd like to adopt this sweet senior, please fill out an adoption questionnaire and then bring your whole family, including dogs, in to meet her. |

"Sophie"
We adopted a female kitten named Greer last July and wanted to share with you her photos and the absolute happiness she has brought into our lives. My youngest son renamed her Sophie and she is one of a kind. Sophie enjoys the water and on two occasions she has gone into the bathtub with my son. She loves anything cool, we find her lying on the window next to the air conditioner vent. Anyhow, we have sent some photos and hope you can share these with all. She loves to sit in a large bowl and our chinese vase, and on occasion has even gone into my son's backpack. She is a wonderful addition to our family.
Best,
Nina
