"Lucus"
 This fine lad is Lucus! His stay at the shelter has been a long one and he’s ready to pack his bags and move on out of here. He loves the staff and volunteers here but he’s really ready for a family all his own. Living here in a community room, Lucas does very well with other cats and enjoys their company. At about 5-years-old, Lucus is still a young buck and has plenty of spunk to play. He likes to chase around toy mice and roll in good old catnip. He has been enjoying indoor life here at the shelter and would like to continue to take in the beauty of the outdoors while in the comfort of his own home through a window. Looking forward to his wet food every morning, Lucus is not shy to jump up and nudge your hand or look up and give you a meow of encouragement to dish the food out quicker. He is a tolerant cat and should do just fine with children, especially those who will play with him. He’s excited to settle in and get to know his new family.
