"Calhoun"
Meet Calhoun, a 4-year old Chihuahua Mix. Calhoun is a darling little guy eagerly awaiting a forever home. Like most of his breed, Calhoun can be a little nervous in new situation, but he can be playful and afectionate once he becomes comfortable. Unfortunately, his obedience skills and manners leave a bit to be desired. He would be a great candidate for the obedience classes we offer at the shetler with discounted rates for adoptees. It would be a great way for him to bond with his new owner too. Calhoun is a sensitive dog who needs understanding owners who won't overwhelm him. He should do fine sharing a home with some other dogs and cats. Children are too much for him though, so we'll be asking that he not share a home with any. If you'd like to adopt Calhoun, please fill out an adoption questionnaire and then bring your entire family, including dogs, in to meet him.
