"Rascal"

Meet Rascal, a 7-month old Shiba Inu Mix. Rascal most certainly is one, being full of energy and activity. He loves playing with everyone and everything. His high energy level is thanks to his youth, as his tendency to go overboard sometimes. He needs a home where he'll not only get regular exercise and playtime to wear him out, but be reminded that he's not the boss every now and then. He would make a good candidate for the obedience classes we offer at the shelter with discounted rates for adoptees. Rascal should do fine sharing a home with some other dogs and children over the age of 6 who can handle his energy. He can't go to a home with cats, though, as they're too tempting for him to chase. If you'd like to adopt Racal, please fill out an adoption questionnaire and then bring your whole family, including dogs, in to meet him.

Our Paws Across America program has saved the lives of hundreds of puppies and dogs. When we have the space available, we work with volunteers in Louisiana, Indiana and Georgia to transport puppies and dogs from overcrowded facilities to Maine for a second chance at life. Please help us to continue this life-saving mission. These dogs have a $60.00 transfer fee when adopted.
