"Parakeets"
 The AWS has many beautiful parakeets or "budgies" in a variety of vibrant and muted colors. "Keets" are especially jovial little creatures with a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor. On the other hand, they are very messy, as all birds are, and adopters should know that their cages will require very regular cleaning. Remember ...a noisy bird is a happy bird! Yes, these little darlings will keep you laughing with their song and conversation, but should settle down nicely for sleep time when you get them on a regular routine.
