Have a Bake Sale for AWS!

Have a Bottle Drive or Distribute Clynk Bags! The Animal Welfare Society participates in the Hannaford “Clynk” program. Pick up green Clynk bags and instructions at the Shelter on Holland Road and start filling them with returnable bottles and cans. Bring them to the Hannaford nearest you, the bags have the AWS barcode so that they credit our account.

Participate in the Project Kitten Challenge for the Annual AWS Kitten Shower. Supplies are greatly needed to prepare for Kitten Season. The group who collects the most Kitten Supplies wins a pizza party and a behind the scenes tour of the Shelter. The 2010 Shower (think of it as a Baby Shower for cats) will be held on May 8th. Have a Car Wash for AWS!

Change your internet search engine to GoodSearch.com and do your shopping on GoodShop. One penny will be donated to AWS for each search and up to 30% of your purchases! Follow the instructions at GoodSearch.com to make Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk your chosen charity. Ask your friends and relatives to do the same! Every penny counts!

Does your family shop at Shaw’s Supermarket?

Link your Shaw’s Rewards card to the Animal Welfare Society’s unique code (49001019242) and AWS will automatically receive 1% of your total receipt when you scan your Rewards Card and shop on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Click here and go to: “Shoppers login or register with your Rewards Card first.” Enter your rewards card number (found on the back of your card underneath the bar code) along with the phone number associated with your card. You may need to call customer service at 1-877-932-7948 to update your contact information if you have recently changed your phone number. The registration process only needs to happen once. Ask your friends and relatives to do the same! Every penny counts!

Do you use Fresh Step cat litter for your own cats?
If so, look on your packaging for “Paw Points” – bring to AWS or mail them: PO BOX 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094. We’re collecting Paw Points to redeem for free litter for all of our residents. It’s desperately needed!

Do you feed your dogs Canidae food? Do you feed your cats Felidae? If so, bring us your original store receipt and the UPC symbol from the package– or mail them: PO BOX 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094. We’re able to redeem them for food for our cats and dogs!
