The Animal Welfare Society is proud to support efforts in our community to establish Dog Parks for the use and enjoyment of dog owners and their four-legged friends. Since initiating the Kennebunk Dog Park, which opened in November of 2005, the AWS has been busy supporting additional efforts for parks in Biddeford and Ogunquit.
The latest news in all three towns is good:
The Kennebunk dog park, sponsored by the AWS, now has a new paved parking lot! No more mud!
The Biddeford Dog Park, sponsored by the AWS opened in October, 2010 at Rotary Park!
The Town of Ogunquit maintains a dog park off Berwick Road near the transfer station!
