AWS Spay/Neuter Programs
Overpopulaton of dogs and cats in Maine causes inexcusable suffering for the animals. For many pet owners, financial limitations prohibit the necessary surgery. To alleviate this growing statewide problem, there are some programs available to assist those clients with financial needs.
Why Spay or Neuter Your Cat?
- Spaying and neutering has a positive effect on your cat's personality. Your cat will roam less, fight less, and be more focused on his or her human family.
- Your cat will live longer, with less chance of many common cancers.
- You will help prevent the suffering and deaths of unwanted kittens.
- It is a myth that your cat will become fat and lazy. Only too much food and a lack of exercise will cause your pet to become obese.
- Responsible pet ownership includes teaching your children about the terrible cat overpopulation problem. Show them how to solve it by spaying and neutering your cat today!
